my parents always watched love connection growing up, so he was always in the background in my living room. also hosted that show "greed" in the early 00s which was a who wants to be a millionaire ripoff but very underrated in my opinion

seems like he lost his mind these last few years, but he was a very versatile game show host

RIP Chuck. My first favorite game show host.

The early 2000s GSN was probably the best time for that network and one of the reasons why was because of Lingo. Really loved that show and Woolery brought a sense of casualness and fun to that game show. Also, Greed was better than Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, and it was cancelled way too soon.
Lingo was one of my favorite game shows back then. Wordle before Wordle. Chuck Woolery seemed a bit cooler than some of the other game show hosts of the time and Shandi was an absolute smoke show. I was in my early teens back then, so she was definitely a big draw for me as well lol.

Due to the popularity of Wordle they recently revived Lingo with RuPaul as the host without the BINGO element, but it's just not nearly the same.

Original host of Wheel of Fortune, he was replaced by Pat Sajak.

Played on the kids’ show New Zoo Revue back in the 70s.

As others have said, it’s hard to have any warm thoughts about him, however.
