I remember so many posters jumping up and down with joy when he was acquired by our moronic Bozovin

Lol..,
This was in part a rebound effect from losing our #2/3 center in Danault and Kotkaniemi and going for a need. Plus he had the reputation of a relatively young, two way interesting player in Arizona. Garland instead would have been good but he wasn’t filling a need.

I think he’d do great on a contender. 9th season and has made the playoffs only once. Majority of his time spent in the desert with an uncertain future and/or a tanking team.

In the right situation he could be a huge piece for someone else’s Cup run.

Spread the word!

(Note I didn’t say Stanley Cup…)

I seriously though he was benched and then he's o
Like most people on this board, I have never been impressed by Dvorak’s talent, compete level, lack of enthusiasm and over all ´ I look miserable in this uniform ‘ attitude, BUT !!! I expected him to level up his play this year for the simple fact that he’s playing for a new contract at the end of the season.
I don’t recall such a Debby downer ever in my 50+ years of watching this team play.
Please take him out of his misery and ship him out of town. A smelly jockstrap and a bucket of pucks would be a fair deal in exchange. It’s simply impossible to think how Beck could do worst.
I seriously though he was benched I look up at the tail end of the 5v3 sequence and he's out there getting PP time.

Another F everything minute.

Dvorak 5 G 6 A in his last 40 games and -10
Not one poster missed him or commented on his absence last year.
Says everything.

It was a major mistake to acquire him (Bergevin) and another huge mistake to keep him so long (Hughes).

I'd rather see Pezzetta every game over ever seeing Dvorak as a Hab again.
Put Pezz and Arber back in the line up. Drop Dvorak and Barron at once.

I despise Dvorak as much as you guys, but I kinda understand why a coach would keep using him. He has only one use on the team. He's one of the only 3 centers who can win faceoffs. The other 2, Suzuki and Evans, are right shooters. That makes Dvorak the unique faceoffs man who can take important faceoffs on the left side of the rink.

It sucks. I didn’t check, but I want to believe Laval must have one left shooting center who can win faceoffs? If so, whoever he is, he cannot be worse than Dvorak, no?

If Laval has nobody, it's time to shop for a left shooting 4th line center then.

He’s one of those guys where the adequate baseline of hockey sense and skill is immediately evident, but he just can’t be bothered to execute never mind make an extra effort. Chop his legs off and move on.
