Interesting statistic:

If Kreider hits the 30 goal mark, he'll be the first home-grown Ranger to do so since Prucha in 2005-06.

He'll also be only the third player to do so in the past 24 years (Amonte in 1992-93 and the previously mentioned Prucha).

Good to see you back posting. How's everything with your son?

Kreider had some step in his game last night. Was concerned he might be really banged up. Scored a goal and also helped on Mika's first goal. Really hate it when these guys rack in multiple points but then they lose. Efforts are basically in vain. Anyway 4 more to go to hit 30. I think it's a strong possibility now.

Kreider's pretty clearly our best forward. It's a shame those games he missed early in the season will probably cost him a shot at 60 points.

Still hoping in vain that Miller finally breaks 60 for a Sather drafted forward....

Yeah, I saw that after I posted. Anyway, Chris Kreider keeps getting better and better at hockey stuff, as the youngsters say.

Frankly, I think this was the year he HAD to take the next step.

I've felt 30 goals was not an unreasonable expectation and so here we area.

Like Miller, there's still some consistency issues, but at least he's trending in a positive direction.

He's going to score 4 against my team tonight because he knows I doubted him.

#27 last night. Nice clutch goal as well. With only 4 games left it's going to be hard to hit 30. If he did not miss time this season from injury think he would of got it.

Good things seem to happen when he's in front of the net. That's going to be key in getting goals in the playoffs.

Outside of his icing he played very smart last night. He worked the end boards well. He positioned himself in front well. He moved the puck well and also found open ice. The goals are great but Im impressed with how well he is using his head on the ice to keep the puck behind the other teams goal line as well.

I`m happy with Kreider - he missed many games this year and have 28 goals. But overall his performance has improved a lot compare to previous seasons. So I`m really excited for playoffs now.

Seems like he's really figuring out how to play in front of the net this year, which is huge for him and for the team since no one else really plays that way
