This site is is all messed up and I can’t quote.

But …

“So would I be fair in comparing Perrault to Vilardi and Zellweger to Grans?

Vilardi + Grans + 1st is a trade most Kings fans would agree with too, I think.”

Nooooooooo….not even close man.

You will not get Faber or Clarke in trade for JC.

Vilardi or Turcotte + Durzi + 1st is final offer.

If Arizona do not like it they can keep JC and be very happy about it.

I may be biased as a Kings fan, but that is an incredible offer for Arizona, which the Kings can afford, but not an easy offer to make considering the talent on the table. Durzi has really took off this season, and has incredible offensive instincts, mobile and quarterbacking skills. He is so calm with the puck when making decisions. Really good pick up from Toronto as part of the Muzzin trade. We can afford to part with the 1st, as we have so many prospects in the pipeline and no roster space. From Vilardi and Turcotte, Vilardi is NHL ready now and an offensive talent. Turcotte would give AZ a strong 200 foot game, competitiveness, and decent offensive production. AZ would be getting a huge haul for one player for its rebuild.

As an Islanders fan I would see what Arizona wants. A Top 4 of Pelech-Pulock-Dobson-Chychrun would be pretty solid.

Personally I think Arizona might be better served waiting till the offseason to make a deal, that way a team could extend him

Friedman and Marek on the Marek Pod:

-Both agree that the price for Chychrun is "essentially" 3 firts
-one first is a young player
-one first is a top prospect
-then the 1st itself

- Arizona asked for Knight and Florida doesn't want to do that
-Florida is NOT doing that

- Marek threw out Mason McTavish and Olen Zellweger in Anaheim

- Friedman says he thinks Florida won't pay the price now

- Friedman says he's looking at LA, STL, BOS, and ANA and there's others
-Those are the teams he's REALLY looking at

- Marek says with ANA trending toward moving Lindholm, the Ducks make sense

- Friedman reiterated that Chychrun doesn't have to go to a contender
-with his age and contract he should be appealing to anyone

- Chychrun is so unique that even Columbus has been after him

- One of the teams that likes Chychrun said that when a guy gets hurt around this time of year
-you often punt to the summer but with so many teams in on him, you can't do that

If that is the asking price, from the Kings it would be something along the lines of Vilardi or Turcotte, Bjornfot, and our 1st. That is basically the only viable offer on our end that would fit that mold (Durzi is not a former 1st). The question is whether Arizona finds that offer appealing.

Not appealing. And not the only viable. Vilardi is the young roster player. Faber is the top prospect. The 1st is the 1st.

Holy shit, they're asking for a 1st + McTavish + Zellweger, huh?

I'll leave other Ducks fans to comment on that one.
I don't think it is both McTavish and Zellweger. Arizona is likely asking for one or the other as the prospect in this scenario. The other pieces would need to be young roster player and the 1st round pick.

If it's one or the other that would make more sense. I would prefer we part with Zellweger than McTavish (not sure if that's a popular opinion) strictly in a trade for Chychrun.

Not sure who the Yotes would even want as a young roster player. We can offer a slumping Comtois, Jones or Steel, but I don't think the Yotes would be interested in any of those.

As a Duck fan, I’d probably do Zellweger + Comtois + 1st (with lottery protection). I don’t think Verveek does that but maybe if he moves Lindholm. Zero interest in trading McTavish though.

I didn't take it to mean McTavish AND Zellweger. I took it to mean McTavish OR Zellweger. But again, this is like when Marek said Lundell AND Knight. I'm pretty sure it was Lundell OR Knight. And just like that time, these aren't comparable things. McTavish is clearly much more valuable than Zellweger. And Lundell is clearly much more valuable than Knight.

I think Marek gets fed good intel, and then he's really bad at processing and relaying that information to listeners.

As for the Ducks, I expect the ask is Comtois, Zellweger and a 1st. But I don't think Verbeek wants to trade is very first 1st as a GM. I think maybe his becomes possible if he can get a 1st from Boston or St Louis for Lindholm, first.

My thought was Zellweger+Comtois+ Conditional 1st (if it wins the lottery, the pick becomes whichever 1st they get for Lindholm - BOS or STL).

I’d do something similar. Basically top 10 protect it.

That said, Stephens (Ducks beat writer) thinks Zellweger is off limits.

Of course I want to keep Chychrun. He’s already what you pray Clarke will someday be a scrawny version of.

We are in agreement now.

Arizona want to keep Chychrun.

LA want to keep Clarke.

Under those conditions there is no need for trade between these 2 teams

Not appealing. And not the only viable. Vilardi is the young roster player. Faber is the top prospect. The 1st is the 1st.

You will not get Faber for injury prone not so good defensively offensive defensemen.

You can ask, but you will not get it.

Can you confirm that Ana is ready to trade McTavish for Chychrun?

Here it is pure speculation:

- Marek threw out Mason McTavish and Olen Zellweger in Anaheim
