So it’ll be an entire roster of 07’s vs a team with a lot of 06’s? Doesn’t seem entirely fair.
Best in the whole of the US (336 million) vs. The best of each of the 3 leagues? Doesn't seem entirely fair.

Add the fact that they play and practice together all year?

I’m just saying the NTDP U18 is all 07’s and they’re not exactly a high end group this year, going against a team with multiple high end 06’s. Maybe their familiarity and playing together evens out that advantage. Wasn’t sure if they’d allow guys like Hagens and Hensler to join the team for this two game series or not.

There will be no first time draft eligible Canadian prospects currently in the BCHL or USHL; so, fair enough.

Can't help but think attendance in London would have been a lot better had they allowed season ticket holders to have their seats.
Can u clarify? Given tickets at n/c, or the right to you seat (section/row)? I know I wouldn't expect either, but still would likely go in Kitchener if my schedule allowed it and it was in my backyard. Similar to Can/Rus in the past. We didn't get our seats.

The right to your seat location. I know a lot of people would have gone had they been able to sit in their same seat. For me specifically, my seat is perfect due to medical reasons, but they would not accommodate.

I had tickets in 300 level. A couple days ago I looked on Ticketmaster and most, if not all of the 300 level was “sold”.

What I think happened is they knew attendance would be low so they blocked the 300 level to force people into 100 level to make it appear full on TV.

First 10min was fast paced and hard hitting but after that it was a boring game overall.

Way back when lol, LK season tic holders had first shot to their seats for any chl event ( Memorial Cup...odd exceptions) Prospect games ect.....it's to bad that has changed. Please correct me if wrong on that, but i always got my seat for those events. Havent cared to try last 5 years thou for any extra event. Tired of it all lol.
Just another oash grab n no loyalty.

Oshawa fans had first crack at their seats for what it's worth. All the usual STHs in my section had their seats.

Thank god the CHL won! If USNT won we would never hear the end about how great they are, how much the CHL has gone downhill, the USHL and USA hockey is so much more advanced than Canada etc etc. By no means am I saying they are not a great program, it’s just the constant bashing of CHL that drives me crazy. That being said you probably won’t hear much about the CHL win

Neither of those games were even remotely close despite it being a 1 goal game yesterday. The Americans were missing some key players and it's definitely a weak NTDP year, but the shot differential between the two games had to be around 40+ shots, so adding some better bodies wouldn't have made a difference.

I checked out after the CHL went up 4-0 in game one.

Didn’t bother watching last night.

Oh yeah you just know if the roles were reversed the analysis would be all over the Chl and how it’s not a good place to develop anymore. Now well here very little about it and all the excuses in the book will be used to downplay how utterly dominated the NTDP was. I know it’s not their best year, but then let’s stop the talk that USA hockey has caught up and how the ncaa is better. Because all those NTDP kids are committed to the high end college programs and outside a couple of them, none look like they’ll be good college players.

That's not a fair comparison though. There are 2 players going in the 2025 NHL draft that are already playing NCAA who went through the USDP but obviously not playing that most likely go top 10.

Roger McQueen didn’t play for CHL because of injury. He’s top 10 as well.
