Yes, but we're just armchair people having fun. I've been continuously told, and just 5 minutes ago, that pros know best. And since it makes sense that they usually do because they have all the infos we don't have, picks made by teams should never be made with what we thought. But rather what the end result is.

Having said all of that, it's obviously not too late for Mysak. There are to be something going on, and it's probably an injury. If not, that seems like a plateau to me. So I hope it's an injury.

My point is that both pros and fans liked the pick, therefore I wouldn't say it was a bad pick.

To me, bad picks are picks you can tell are bad even without hindsight. Like Crisp.

Mysak was a good pick, even if the result might end up disappointing.

Well that's not how I see it. 2012 was the ultimate great looking draft for us. This board is never close to being unamimous except...that day. Galchy, Collberg, Thrower, Bozon, Vail even Hudon. Everyboyd loved that draft. And it ends up a bad one. Yet, despite us loving it, there is NO WORLD (my new favorite expression) that will come to the conclusion that 2012 for us was a great draft. Not happening. Great looking. Surely. Great. Not a chance.

So great looking picks aren't equal to actually great picks. The day that we put armchair scouts opinions as the same as the ones paid the big bucks to make decisions is the day where either we need to be paid to post our opinions....or they need to be doing their job as a volunteer...

Guhle MVP!! Will be very tough to keep him out of the lineup next year. If not straight out of training camp, at some point in the year he will come up to the big club.
Why?

Poehling has shown some of the highest promise you can find in a centre..

Looks like Hayes's goal off the shaft of his stick & not the blade, so even though blade is high, I think this is good. It's where it hits the stick.
