Really hope Mysak is just a case of playing a role and points suffering from it.

For those of you who have been watching Hamilton, what is the earliest round you would take Logan Morrisson in, if he's still available in that round?

He was draft eligible in Mysak's year, but went undrafted. Now, fast forward to this season, and he's far outproduced Mysak both in the regular season and the post season.

Craig Button has him as a late 2nd, early 3rd rounder this year.
He's been unbelievable in these playoffs. He has a point in every playoff game and is driving the offense for Hamilton. McTavish hasn't been consistent, and Winterton has been in & out of the lineup with injuries. Ditto Mysak.

He's a gamer through & through. He plays all 200 feet of the ice, he's fast & consistently attacks the middle of the ice. He had a good year in 19-20, so no idea why he wasn't drafted in 2020.

I'd take him late 2nd or early 3rd. Put him in Laval next year. Ideally, we'd take him with Anaheim's pick.

It was just a bad pick from the old guard but Mysak is only 19 years old he might play in the NHL anyway if he keeps working hard.

Too bad Peter Chiarelli isn’t still the GM for the Oilers. If Guhle was trending towards busting, we could trade him for a 1st and 2nd. If Chia was still there, we could probably trade Guhle for Draisaitl tomorrow lmao.

Gonna piss on the parade a lil' bit but Byram was 17, in his D year and had 1.2 ppg vs .8 for Guhle.

Its nice to see, he hopefully anchors that 2nd pairing for a decade. Its a shame both he and Romanoc are LDs because they couldve made a sick pairing that nobody would want to play against.
That being said, Weber's 9 goals permformance also came during D+2 year and he was also scoring around 0.8 PPG ;)

If Guhle becomes a new Weber (pre recurring injuries) it is a great win for MTL. I was not super high on him at the draft (had Reichel and Schneider before him) but I really liked how he is developping. Let us hope he has a great career with a Habs jersey.

Thats true, and Webs produced even less than Guhle during the season. Hopefully he has a similar development because that would make the Habs contenders.

And Shane Wright and Caufield like the pic !

You sure? I just checked and neither of them are on the Likes.

Perfetti and Neighbors commented. And the only player I saw liking it is Logan Stankoven.

________

Tonight @ 7PM ET, we'll find out if it will be Hamilton or Windsor that will go to the Memorial Cup.

Hopefully the development side could change his path away from bust. Ylonen was also pretty mediocre prior to AHL, now looks like a prospect

Yes, but we're just armchair people having fun. I've been continuously told, and just 5 minutes ago, that pros know best. And since it makes sense that they usually do because they have all the infos we don't have, picks made by teams should never be made with what we thought. But rather what the end result is.

Having said all of that, it's obviously not too late for Mysak. There are to be something going on, and it's probably an injury. If not, that seems like a plateau to me. So I hope it's an injury.

Mediocre? Was too-good to be playing U20. So he endedup in the Mestis and was the best U19 player of the Mestis league in his draft year. If he would have been medicore, he would not have been chose there.
