Remind me why Bergevin thought it was a good idea to trade his 7th round pick in 2020 (#188) for a 7th in 2021 (#214) instead of taking a chance with Louis Crevier at #188? Chicago could have a real steal with that pick. The battle in the playoffs between Crevier and Mavrik Bourque is really great to watch.

Joe Vrbetic at #214 doesn’t seem to be a future signing.
Yeah, Vrbetic is a non-prospect.

Crevier has been excellent. Bergevin group didn't draft a lot from Q.

Simoneau & Guhle named to the CHL Team of the Week for last week:

Real good attendance in Quebec.

So one or more Montreal prospects are playing in the Finals in every league. Pretty fun.

Yup.

- Guhle in the WHL
- Simoneau & Trudeau in the QMJHL
- Mysak & Xhekaj in the OHL.

and if Windsor holds on to the lead, Sobolev will also be in the final for the OHL. And that would guarantee to have a Habs prospect in the Memorial Cup representing the OHL.

Looks like Sobolev with an assist on the 1st goal

I'm looking at the OHL website and he doesn't have an assist on the 1st goal. Maybe they'll add it retroactively. Where did you see that he has an assist?

They made a mistake because in the 1st goal, you can see it wasn't Sobolev with the assist. In fact, you can see he's not any of the 5 players on the ice (you see them celebrate the goal) and none of them wears #10 (Sobolev's number).

I don't think he's ever going to be a big point producer, but I'm hoping he at least makes it a difficult decision for the Habs next season whether to sign him or not

That's it. ENG Shawinigan. Wow! What a come from behind win.

Quebec couldn't close them out.

It's Shawinigan and Charlottetown in Q Finals.

Scored the game winner with 48 seconds left in the game and then added an empty netter.

Meanwhile, it looks like Windsor will take on Hamilton in the OHL final. They are now up 4-0 with about a minute left in the game.
