Roy just had a solid shot. He then followed it up with a great pass across the net that Parent didn't complete and a few seconds later setup Parent again on a great pass across 2 opponents for a solid shot from the middle which didn't score.

He is impressive with his passes, decision making and stickhandling.

Roy barely played in the 2nd half of the 3rd period because of all the penalties. Kinda sucks, but with his team winning, I'm sure he doesn't care.

Roy with an assist as Sherbrooke go up 2-0
It's as though with Roy now that if I see anything less then a 3pt night, I'm disappointed and start wondering if he's ok lol

we need to draft a big time goal scorer to compliment his passing skills for the next level

The Kingston team was generally so bad during these playoffs that's impossible to fairly evaluate Wright on it. Overall, he did ok. He had a strong end to the regular season, a poor start, an ok middle, and a train wreck of a playoffs, especially 2nd round.

Consistency is obviously one area of improvement, but we'll see how things work out.

Scouting season is over for him.
Combine, interviews and that's about it

Any chance Wright plays in the World Championship taking place right now? Would be nice to have more opportunities to scout him

Prospects in playoff action today:

- Kidney vs. Simoneay & Trudeau @ 6PM ET (Game 2 between Acadie-Bathurst & Charlottetown)
- Roy @ 7PM ET (Game 2 vs. Blainville-Boisbriand)

I also updated the OP to add the other series in each league.

Last night, Kamloops won their series against Vancouver with a 6-0 win. They await the winner between Portland/Seattle. Tonight is Game 6 between them. If Portland wins, they advance to face Kamloops in the Conference Final. If Seattle wins, they will force a Game 7 (that would be played tomorrow).

What’s up with all these single point games for Roy? Does he have covid?

Portland had such an easy series against Prince George, they were in good shape for the next round

Blainville is really bad. All Sherbrooke lines are dominating them, I would be interested to see TOI and wheter it dropped tjis series because there is no need to tire the Anctil-Parent-Roy line.

It's possible they are using their best players against them too and effectively reducing their efectiveness, but i wouldn't worry about that as Sherbrooke is still wildely dominating play.

I look forward to the next series where they can play against a worthy opponent.
