Six people from my work went in Hawks gear today. 2 of them have never seen a hockey game even on TV

Should be a great game. If kings don't actually get up for this who knows what they'll get up for. For once I feel really good about our chances vs the Hawks and we finally match up really well

Of course that probably means we will probably get ****ing crushed but I don't get to watch this one due to travel anyway so I'll just keep my fingers crossed on the plane and let you guys do the swearing "!

I think this game is a big deal in terms of seeing what we have in McNabb. Chicago is going to be testing him with stretch passes and with their speed to the outside.

All in all though, it will be another step in his progression. Looking forward to seeing how steep his learning curve is.

The Hawks' bandwagon was out in full force today against the Ducks. Must be the same people who used to own Red Wings jerseys. I don't recall these many Hawks fans around back when their top line consisted of Kyle Calder, Tyler Arnason and Mark Bell.

Don't mind me stopping by, but count me in as an old school Hawks fan, the ABC line sucked but prior to that we had Roenick, Amonte, Chelios, Belfour etc. Every organization has ups n downs Kings included.

Besides you guys got all the power you're the Champs and we gotta work to get the belt back.

We're talking about local bandwagon fans in SoCal. Granted, there are a lot of transplants here and for good reason. That being said, we do get a lot of folks who jump on out of state teams bandwagons for the "cool factor". During the Redwings glory days, there were a TON. Now? Hibernation or have moved on to the next cool out of state team to root for, apparently the Hawks. You'd think they'd latch onto the local team, which is pretty good. We get our share of bandwagon fans, but not nearly as much as other teams.

The kings themselves don't know what to expect during the regular season lol.

Don't care how they do it, just hope they win.

Yeah, they're going to try to exploit both McNabb and McBain. Well they'll try to exploit slowpokes Greene and Regehr, too. I guess Drew and Muzzin are the only ones who won't have to cram for this test.

DS, on the #Blackhawks: "Their team, when you do all the numbers and all those stat things, they are the best team in the league right now."
