Allan has been good and looks to be very promising young defender and Roman is looking very promising in KHL and is probably our best offensive wing prospect in system

I like Wright tools but thus far he has been underwhelming and that is frankly too much for Hawks to give up for him

Makes more sense than Allan (Who is establishing himself in NHL) and our best wing prospect in Kantserov

Del Mastro is potentially blocked by our LD logjam and Misiak is 2nd tier C prospect behind trio of 1st round C's (Boisvert, Moore and Nazar)

I agree with the other Hawks fans on value here.

Hawks have a glut of small forwards and a logjam of LHD.

I make this proposal believing that Kantserov alone could be better than Wright.

I think Wright fits team needs better than Kantserov, and moving Allan opens up spots for other LHD like Korchinski and Del Mastro, who I consider a similar prospect to Allan.

I think the initial backlash from neutral fans is not realizing how good of a prospect Kantserov is.

Also not expecting Wright to be anything more than a 2C.

Its not fair if Hawks are overpaying for a guy who is struggling badly right now at NHL level

As for Korchinski for Wright swap it doesn't make sense to move our best LD prospect for a C. We have Nazar/Boisvert/Moore/Mustard/Thompson/etc in system as is for C

If we are going for a reclamation project giving up Korchinski or your original offer are too steep a price considering Wright has major ? right now

Wright is 20. They probably aren't going to move him now without an offer like this

I'd rather trade Del Mastro than Allan and quite frankly I don't consider Kantserov as anything more than a trade chip. I think he could be very good but the Hawks don't need another 5-9 forward in the top 6.

Yeah then why would Seattle do the original deal. They are loaded at wingers. Short on centers. Allan has been nice so far and Kantserov is a nice Khl player.

I'm that high on Kantserov. I already said that I thought he could be better than Wright, but doesn't fit the Hawks roster construction. Wright is a better fit, even if he's only a middle 6er.

Like I said, Allan gives me Jake McCabe vibes and that is the main piece going to Seattle that makes this trade. Kantserov fills the gap between Allan and Korchinski, Imo.

I'd consider something but it's probably because I love Korchinski as a Thunderbirds fan (although I guess Allan is similar but less-tenured).

I would only offer Korchinski in a trade if its for David Jiricek. I am not giving up on another young Dman for a guy who has proven not to be NHL caliber. Jiricek for Korchinski is D for D AND TOP 10 SWAPS

What do you mean by Allan is similar? As a prospect or playing for the Thunderbirds?
