Carolina wat u doin?

He drifted into being the guy who is in the trade rumors a lot, and I think he had himself jokingly commented that he expects to be traded all the time. I guess there's only so many years until you want to get somewhere else where you feel safer to unpack your suitcases, whether or not that's actually warranted. But it wasn't going to happen in Carolina. He was a great supplementary player, but wasn't going to make it into the core, what with Carolina in constant search of the great top 6 forward who possibly would make his presence redundant.
