Thst 2008 was a pick swap of 5OA for 7OA+That's the first time a Top 5 pick has knowingly been traded since 2008.
... For Bowen Byram lol.

I suppose but now buffalo has the cap to resign tuch so really take this trade and add tuch going to buffalo makes the trade even more lopsidedThis is my big problem with the deal but I have to think Chicago has reason to believe they can extend him if they were willing to pony up this much.
Why the f*** are they just throwing Crevier in the deal?!
am I dreaming?
If the Sabres can get 4th overall for Byram, who's to say I can't get a date with the cute blonde I work with?
).Hey, when I'm wrong I'm wrong.
Never in a million years did I think a combo of Byram and Greenway would get us.............THIS. Never.
Unless Vancouver is trading out of that pick I don't see why.Vancouver needs a center.Stenberg and Reid are going #2 & #3. That's why CHI moved off the pick
If the return came through as Crevier + 45th for Byram, I don't think I would have been as surprised as I am with the actual trade. You just really don't see top 5 picks moving and I am pretty shocked that Byram fetches one along with two other pretty solid pieces.
Though this definitely does likely have something to do with the weak FA market, teams who desperately want to improve are just short on options.
The fact the Hawks tossed in Crevier as a sweetener is just adds to the kick in the balls even more lol. That's the first time a Top 5 pick has knowingly been traded since 2008.

I would expect console systems would reject this.
Take either one of Reid or Maholtra and run to the bank. Why does Buffalo do this? They plan on flipping this trade?
