Has Lindgren scored a goal before? Or is he now on the very short list of goalies to be credited with a goal in an NHL game?
Not how it works, read the replies.

Had to get rid of it before the HHOF got their hands on it.I love the flip into the stands. “Someone’s gonna want that one…”
Growing up every hockey player dreamed of scoring 'the' Cup winning goal in the SCF. To date there's just roughly a hundred people in history to be able to claim that. However there is only one player in hockey history who has scored a Cup winning own goal ... Chris Phillips ladies & gentlemen (credited to Travis Moen). Its the highlight of the month for sure. But no own goal defeats Phillip's in a stanley cup final.
Actually I think this is 2nd worst after Laine’s, because at least Lindgren wasn’t literally trying to score on his own goal
Let's not forget this one by the best GM of all time :
After looking at this weird screenshot, I had a question pop into my head. How would an own goal be credited if the opponent never touched the puck beforehand?View attachment 936731
I was wondering what this might mean... somehow doesn't do justice to the clip.
I don't know either, but I suppose the circumstances would have to be right from an opening faceoff to start a game or period because I think otherwise the NHL would credit any opposing player with the last touch if it was mid-period.After looking at this weird screenshot, I had a question pop into my head.
