Is Charlie an improvement for the Monsters D at this point? Might be a little early for him. AHL playoffs is a steep increase in competition and he's had a rough year.

We might be desperate for right D in Cleveland??? Ceulemans has been out. We were playing 4 left D. One of the right D was a Bruins loaner. The book on Elick is that he is a great skater without the puck, but with the puck… We have plenty of solid smaller left D that can play with the puck at the AHL level. They might think he would be an improvement for 15 minutes a night and PK2 plus add some size/toughness. Or as a backup in case of injury. Oshawa is still playing so Marrelli is still playing and not an option.
