It’s on the USA coaches more than anything. If Connor is healthy, then he should have played. CK was benched most of the game, and they let MT play even though he was injured.

The longer this game went, the greater Canada’s odds of winning. Congrats.

Hughes was a disappointment but I have a feeling he wasn’t 100%, even before the tournament.

Really. Lucky for you that Russia wasn't in too. With all your so called talent you barely won. Don't forget USA beat Canada 4 days ago. So in reality they tied.
When you have the best player on the planet, you always have a chance. All that matters who the championship game.

I'm tired of seeing people come here after a loss just to say how amazing the other team's goalie was. "Well played, USA/Finland/Sweden! Your goalkeeper was really good!" Give me a break. We all know what you're really trying to say.

You're not fooling anyone with your fake compliments. It's obvious you're just bitter about losing and trying to make excuses. If you want to praise the other team's goalie, fine, but at least be genuine about it.

Let's be real: Losing sucks, but trying to sugarcoat it with insincere compliments just makes you look like a sore loser. Man up, accept the loss, and move on.

Next time you feel the urge to post about how great the other team's goalie was, stop and think. Are you really being a good sport, or just being passive-aggressive?

TODAY

Congrats Canada, your goalie was really good!

I'm happy for Canada. They really needed this win. Their future isn't looking too bright.

Well played to Binnington, he was the best Canadian player tonight.

Most devastating loss in U.S hockey history.............by a lot, and fitting it was Canada who did it to them.

Oh yeah...............f*** you Ryan Whitney
Not even close. Most people in this country don't care about this tournament.

Besides, losing the Gold Medal games was a lot worse.
