Saves in OT were overrated IMO. He had time and space to make each one, was nothing close to the 2019 period he had in game 7. Made saves an NHL caliber goalie should make. Matthews had next to no time or room on the shot from the slot.

Binnington won the game for Canada. Full marks. How he doesn’t get first star is beyond me.

Also, Marner didn’t have a great tournament but all three points were super clutch. I didn’t want him but I was wrong. Good for him.

McDavid should’ve won tournament MVP.
