Champions League Knockout Stage

Including just recently turned 18 and in my own biases I was largely thinking of Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly, but also Cubarsí, I would sneak Doué and Zaïre-Emery in the same category. Actually 17 year olds theres at least Quenda and Estevao Willian, but they're more the classic category of highly touted youngsters that can still have their potential squandered by the Chelsea machine.

Just seems to be a particularly large crop of particularly young players doing amazing things on first teams right now, but by all means, correct me if that's completely ordinary
I was actually thinking of this a couple days ago. It does seem young players are being introduced a lot earlier. Not just Barca who were kind of forced into this position (albeit the talent warrants it) but other teams as well.

Bojan was hyped more than Yamal.
I wasn't following closely when Bojan broke out, but to what extent was that a function of him being The Next Barcelona Prospect right after Messi exploded into being the best player in the world at 20?

Yamal's enormous amounts of hype has come directly out of the performances (especially at the Euros)

Yes and the fact Bojan was scoring at will in youth competitions.
Yamal's hype is coming from his pitch pro performances. He's earning it.
Bojan's came from his youth goals.

You still think that after his CL exit? Where he was awful?
Why do you think the Ballon d'Or is won in the CL? Salah's season has been revolutionary. A two-game leg, even against losing to a very good team where he looked bad, should barely scratch what he's done this season. The trophy is awarded for the entire year, no? He's easily been the most consistent performer.

Disagree. Winning a league doesn't make a BDO winner.
