Champions League Knockout Stage

The Club World Cup will likely have influence as well. The prize money is extremely high, and so teams will be taking it seriously. I expect that narrative momentum will come alongside that.

Only for the CL winning team's / finalist's players though, if PSG does well in both competitions, it will a big boost for Dembele.

Done and dusted. Can't really allow Barca to have that kind of counter attacks, making mistakes leading to turnovers when all your players are high up on the pitch.

At least we will get to go all in on Bayern's B team on Saturday.

Yamal is too good. There's no way he can be this good at 17 years of age

How long has it been since we've had this many amazing players not quite or just turned 18? Has it actually ever happened? Players that young feels like a new thing, but I'm no sports historian

Which 17 year olds apart from Yamal are you talking about?

Including just recently turned 18 and in my own biases I was largely thinking of Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly, but also Cubarsí, I would sneak Doué and Zaïre-Emery in the same category. Actually 17 year olds theres at least Quenda and Estevao Willian, but they're more the classic category of highly touted youngsters that can still have their potential squandered by the Chelsea machine.

Just seems to be a particularly large crop of particularly young players doing amazing things on first teams right now, but by all means, correct me if that's completely ordinary

There are but indeed a little more loose on the age.
I'd say the 2003 and beyond group talked about before is impressive.
