Wrong. It is not at all relevant to the discussion. This was your initial post:

Oh and also lol to some posters saying Luis Enrique sucked (yes, yes you did). What he's building with a team of guys aged 18-24 is worthy of every dream of FM managers around the world.

This was my reply:

He definitely doesn’t suck. Not sure why anyone would have said that. Still, he’s not the best manager in the game either.

He may be building a strong team, but PSG have spent a fortune getting those players and he shoud have a strong team with those players.

Time will tell, but it’s not as though he has an impressive string of results this season. For starters they play in L1 and anything less then a comfortable league win there is underachieving. It sounds as though they were impressive in this tie and they definitely look a good side that is getting better, but there’s still a long way to go.

So very clear Liverpool’s spending is irrelevant to the conversation. Now why you’d bring it up, or now Barca for that matter (which took you long enough), isn’t clear to me and I wouldn’t want to speculate past the speculation I’ve already made because none of the answers reflect well on you.

The point with the season is Luis Enrique and how good he is. How good PSG are playing right now and have been is great, but any analysis of Luis Enrique should be wider in scope than less than a full season. For me, he’s a good manager, but he doesn’t have the longevity of some other managers who are generally considered better. And to be clear, I’m a big fan of his. I like him more than the vast majority of managers out there including Guardiola which I don’t think many Cules would say. You should also consider the fact that I have him as a manager in the fantasy league and took him because no one else, including yourself, had him.

That may be laughable to you, but I suspect it’s not laughable to a majority of people considering the argument. A discussion about Lucho and “what he’s building with a team of guys aged 18-24” means that the context of how much that team of guys cost is entirely relevant. What is laughable is you referring to someone referring to that being brought up is “whiny”.

You clearly don’t understand what it means to move the goalposts, something I didn’t do as this post yet again demonstrates. You on the other hand took a discussion about Lucho and “what he’s building with a team of guys aged 18-24” and brought Liverpool’s spending into it along with now Barca’s. That is moving the goalposts of what the discussion is about and again why you’re doing it is something I won’t speculate on.

How you should have replied to my initial post would read something like this:

Yes, PSG did spend a lot bringing those young players in. Other clubs spend as much and probably more and don’t bring in nearly as many good players as PSG have done. You can credit Luis Campos with that. Still, it doesn’t change the fact that the manager has to put it all together and as of right now Luis Enrique has put it all together as is evidence by the fact that PSG are one of the best teams in the game.

As for this season, just further evidence that he’s put it all together with this young team as they are undefeated in L1.

Now that is a reply you should have made. It wouldn’t have covered everything, but would have been a much better reply.

I’m going to hold your hand for this… the second video is edited … Messi does not double touch the football. It’s been years let it go. I already have a pair thanks.

The funniest part is l’equip posted about this. You lot still have a hard on for this after years. You ran to hf to post forensic evidence Melynk style. What a farce.

Again, I WROTE I didn't have a problem with this, you probably missed that part. To me both should have counted (so as an argentinian you should be happy).
I'll look into it because I really don't see how it can be edited though you never know with AI.

Again it is relevant since you never bring up money for any other team.
Hypocrisy is all there is.

No, the money spent isn't relevant since pretty much any attempt in football history to make a team of 2à year old to dominate has failed. So the money spent was both spent wisely and to be honest in today's market, not even expensive.

Good thing it didn't stop Messi's to count in the WC final.

I guess this rule only applies when it fits the "narrative".

Things are different when this corrupt loser is running the show

Stalin once said something like it's not the votes that count but the ones counting the votes. Same applies to Fifa football
