Loved Farabee as a prospect, thought he was well on his way to untouchable core status after his 20 goals in 55 games at age 20 in sophomore season. Just another example that development is not a linear upward trajectory.
Given that Kuzmenko is likely a short-timer under Torts, I see this as two youngish middle-six guys capable of 40-50 point seasons who didn’t play the way Torts wants for one slightly youngerish and less proven middle-six guy who *may* be capable of 40-50 points and probably plays in a way that Torts will like more plus a 2nd round pick.
Calgary gets more proven with guys still fairly young…Philly gets more flexibility.
