I was surprised they didn't sign him straight off. Proven producer who hasn't even fallen off.

Rumors are that he's not a great guy though, which concerns me.

The Flames' right side needed help, so him or Parenteau were our best options. Short-term solution, gives us some depth on the wing, so I like it.

Versteeg was quite good during this PTO. If I recall correctly, his best game was against Calgary so I'm not entirely surprised by this.

I wonder what we're going to do, and I just hope this doesn't mean that Puljujarvi is on the roster day 1. Maybe there's a late waiver wire pick up we could do. Kind of wish we snagged PAP now.

Not my favorite player, but with Brouwer being glued to Bennett to start, and Frolik with Backlund, that meant one of Ferland or Chiasson with the top line, which was completely unpalatable.

Flames don't have much on the right side, so that makes sense i guess. Brouwer and Frolik have their roles on the team, but nobody to play on that top line to help Gaudreau and Monahan.
