They really seem to have found some good talent, kudos to the GM. So much roster turnover, you just hope they can keep some players for a while and see how this team gels. It all starts with Dru Brown who is pretty poised and able to make quick reads. This new RB Laborn is pretty impressive too. Got some players

Argos not looking that impressive though. Looking forward to measuring against the Als.

The CFL is all about the QB & Ottawa seems to have found a gem in Drew Brown, he has an excellent arm & great vision as he single handedly changed this team around from a laughing stock to a playoff team in one yr. And if Masoli stays healthy they have a great backup too.

Kelly Toronto's QB clearly rusty after being suspending for half the yr shows us what a difference a good QB does for a team & a rusty one. I don't remember the last time an Ottawa team scored 40 pts, maybe the Burris yrs. They nw look like a completely different team with Brown at QB than any other since Burris.

Maybe it's a good job it's not on regular tv, Brown has thrown 2 interceptions in the first 8 mins, one for a TD

Dang! With all the other gridiron news on the weekend, I didn't check some of the "other" games until just now. I see that Ryquell Armstead, who got shown the door by the RedBlacks a few weeks ago, rushed for over 207 yards in his debut with the Riders. How'd he learn the playbook so fast? Well, the goodguys knew he could carry the ball (he was their leading rusher, after all) when they turfed him. Seems to have been more an issue of undisciplined penalties and sideline shenanigans. Appears management and teammates just got tired of his routine, but 207 yards, man that stings!

Frustrating loss. Masoli just not able to step up in the pocket and hit receivers downfield like Brown. Not sure if its timing or great defense, but he seemed to be trying to force it into situations that were well covered. Defence perhaps still injury ravaged. Hopefully they can put it together again down the stretch

at 7-2-1, everyone was giddy.

TSN1200 is having polls of, how many wins will they get??? They even had an option of breaking the Ottawa record for wins in a season.

Now, Crickets.

I love Ottawa hype!!! No one does it worse, and no one fails worse.

for your info 8-6-1.. so 1 - 4 in the last 5. MTL and TO as the last 2 games. Both are fighting for position and league lead.

HOW ABOUT THEM REDBLACKS!!!!!

After the Saskatchewan loss I said to myself this team will not win another game this season. I'm now expanding that to they may possibly not score another touchdown this season.

Team discipline is out of control and Dyce is in way over his head.

Still, lipstick on a pig.
