Have to figure Campbell is probably going to be the guy. Wouldn't be my first pick in an ideal world, but we need to be realistic about the options.
Campbell would bring experience, professionalism, and competent but unspectacular coaching on the sidelines. This would almost certainly be an upgrade on what we've seen for most of the last 9 years.
The other options seem to be sticking with Jackson, who I think most of us are lukewarm on at best, or bringing in one of the fired Calgary personnel, which could work out great, but is also a complete unknown.
Given the position the organization is in, going with a known commodity who Hervey (and assume Morris to some degree) are familiar with seems reasonable with no sure-fire candidate available.
Ultimately we just saw Mike O'Shea and his staff, generally regarded as the best in the league, utterly soil their pants in the Grey Cup. The coaching bar is not high in this league right now. If you can grab an average but experienced coach you're probably in a better situation than several other teams just on that alone. Is what it is, as they say.
