Saliba - Dunno. I think they'd be stupid to sell him now because as much as he made positive progression, there are still major aspects of his game that needs improvement that I'm guessing other teams see and will therefore not make a significant money offer. Better off waiting at least another year for him to get better. He's also only 20 so there's no need to rush a sale.

I don't think it's any big secret at this point that Wanyama is on his way out. He's been unhappy all season and it's pretty clear Courtois had no use for him in the lineup.

With all the reports coming out about this team potentially moving to Detroit, I'd hope a 'Save the Crew' 2.0 happens if you love soccer in Montreal, but if I were to guess they are moving in silent.

Anyway it's clear as day that this team is heading towards that ; new proposed winter MLS schedule, no more big O, no winter installation at Saputo, no DPs, ambitious investors in Detroit, distant owner, no Sporting Director. You have to be delusional at this point to think this team survives past 2026

& If you're Saputo you bought this team for 40 million and can sell it for 800 million

Business wise it makes all the sense in the world and I personally can't be mad at that... business wise.

I believe that the 3 million fumbled that they would've made with a Miami game was the last straw.

Where's OUR new stadium at dawg ? Cause it looks like you've got money to spend after all :help:
Probably still fighting the city over his tax bill. Fully expect us to either move or to be sold to a partnership in which PKP is involved. We should have a shared covered stadium with the Alouettes (wink wink Olympic Stadium renos), even moreso now that we'll have a regular season in winter.

Now is not the time for Joey to sell, the franchise values are all going up, the league is healthy and growing. If he sells, it will be in a few years when things hit a bit of a plateau. My actual wish, as it has always been, is for Molson to buy it, so we can finally form the MLSE type of structure that pro sports desperately need in this city/province. Ressources should be pooled together.

Are.....are you suggesting that we actually move CFMTL and the Als into the Olympic Stadium?

Please say no.

Regardless, I honestly don't know if it's a good idea for the two teams to play in the same location. look at the issues that TFC and the Argos had with their field quality, or the issues that games had during Copa America. Is that because of the specific setup they had, or is it just the nature of two very different sports requiring different things.
