Giroud's still a pretty good player in serie A.

If he wants to come over, isn't there going to be a lineup of teams wanting to sign him ?

Very likely as he said himself he was interested in coming over here. That said.. many teams may not have a DP spot for him or would rather use it on someone else (younger). Many cities may not interest him too. I doubt he would choose RSL, Colorado, SKC and the likes.

We should expect the LA and Florida teams to be among top destinations if they can fit him. His wife is American so who knows.

I'd like to believe we still have a chance, the language may be a factor but I don't know what are his plans for his family and future.. like do they speak French at home?

Same here. And I agree there is a good vibe. They got the coach I wanted, they spent money on transfers and more importantly in positions of need. The gray kit is finally gone.

Too bad Apple TV doesn't have a subscription tier where you can only follow one team the way the AHL does. Because there is no way I'm paying 200 bucks to watch only CFMTL games.

That part ruins it for me.

I imagine they will officially announce Coccaro at some point today. The guys is at practice today. They already tweeted a pic of the guy in their practice kit. It would be weird if they still wait days before they officially announce the signing and clarify the terms of the deal.

I don't get why they have to kayfabe it like that TBH. People have known for days now, there's no secret to keep, unless for whatever reason his name isn't on the contract yet so there's a 1% chance he might balk at the last moment.
