Do you guys have a website where they keep stats for rookies who qualify for Calder? I know Shane Wright and Brent Clarkt are disqualified because they played at least 6 games each for the last 2 seasons. Or maybe a website where you can customize NHL players that automatically keep stats for you. I appreciate any help you can provide.

I check rookie stats via markerzone. They don't have instant stat updates but it's good for next day comparisons.

Honestly, the filters menu for the NHL stat site, especially on mobile, are not super clear about how to filter to just rookies. I just figured it out last week.

Much appreciated! With a 4 year-old, I can only spend so much time perusing sites and hadn't quite figured out how to get that filter (I don't like to be glued to a screen in front of him).

Not to weigh in on this debate but I struggled to find rookie level data today and I'm a pretty tech savvy millennial...I just didn't ask for help and decided I'd manually search players and open multiple windows across two monitors to compare

Long and short of it is Mack is generating tons of chances 5v5 and pretty good defensively, which matches the eye test handedly. On the PP he can score but the team's PP is abysmal. PP metric is pretty team dependent.

1. Search google, click on NHL.com stats

2. Under 'Skaters', click 'All Leaders'

3. Hit the Filter button

4. Change 'Experience/Status' to 'Rookie' and hit 'Apply Filters'

Hold the applause, I'll be here all week, waiting for my MIT acceptance letter with a full-ride computer science scholarship. I'm sure it'll come any day now.
