probably a combo. Cleveland and many players also benefit from a run but Waddell seemed like he wanted to exhaust every opportunity to know 6'5" Tarasov wasn't the guy. Felt like he was excited as much about the size as anything
we know the talent is there with Tarasov and the thing is you can’t teach size to someone like Jet. I don’t blame him not wanting to throw away who was low key kind of expected to come in the start of the year and take over Elvis job. There clearly is something going on out of the public eye especially after him not wanting to take that conditioning stint earlier this season.

Tarasov and Elvis are just absolute enigmas to me. There is so much talent there between those two but they just can’t get it done.

Tarasov is a slow starter. (Not like Elvis is dependable but...) HCDE probably figured with the season in the balance he couldn't afford to assume his team would always be able to claw its way back from being down early.

Maybe it's time for a thorough work up with a psychologist. It's the little things that often prevent players from showing their qualities at 100%.

Since were eliminated, I think we should put JJ back in for Harris. It might be his final NHL game.

Other than that, same lineup.

Heck it might be Harris' last game.

A bit unlikely that no one would give him a shot, but he's a marginal D that didn't play NHL caliber for most of the season. His best game was last night.

Greaves should get the last game, even if eliminated. He's earned it. Let the home fans recognize him in the finale.

You also have to wonder if Tarasov gets a good NHL contract from a club next year. Resting Jet tomorrow sets him up better to lead the Monsters. They still have to clinch and have a playoff run ahead of them.

Should they send Mateychuk down to help the Monsters to secure playoff spot?

I'd be eager to get both Mateychuk and Greaves to the Monsters.

I think if it was a road game, Tarasov would get the start tomorrow. With it being at home, they might give it to Jet.

Do they even try to give a guy like Williams a game in the lineup tomorrow since he's been here practicing since he signed?
if we were eliminated before the last game, probably yeah.

any other year i'd love to see them burn all their AHL call-ups to get some guys a game but i think all the regulars will want to play one last game at NWA.

would be shocked if we don't see jack johnson tomorrow now, though. i assume this is the end of the road for him. maybe they scratch ZAR to get williams a game. kuraly's definitely staying in the lineup, as a hometown guy and pending UFA.

i get the sense that elvis has more or less been booted from the team at this point. otherwise i'd say there's a good shot he'd be the backup. should absolutely be jet at this point.

Now sure why everyone wants to insist Elvis has been booted from the team. They said he skated today but won't be available to play. Maybe he actually has an upper body injury like a concussion or something but so many people always assume the worst.

The timing wouldn’t even make sense. IF that was a thing, it would’ve been after the Colorado game. Not right after he played well two games in a row (with the team winning the last one).
