Dominated?

Foudy AHL stats:
3 G 13 A 16 P in 13 GP

Angle AHL stats:
11 G 13 A 24 P in 23 GP

I just don’t see Foudy scoring much at the next level besides picking up assists.
I wouldn't say dominating either, but if he goes to the Jackets and piles up assists, it means someone is scoring, and I'm good with that. In fact, that is what they have been lacking, is a bonafide assist guy.

I think the COVID rules hurt Foudy. I think he needed a full year in the AHL, but with the taxi squad a thing last season, its not a shocked he landed on that instead of being a full time AHLer. Hopefully that didn't hurt his development to much because there moments I liked what I saw last season.

What I see as a possible concern about Foudy’s assists translating is that he carries the puck well but often isn’t able to make a play, in the time I’ve seen him in NHL. I hope he’s able to figure out how to find guys once he’s drawn defenses away.

No doubt being on the taxi squad hurt. Hopefully next season it smooths out and he can either get some time in Cleveland, or he figures it out in Columbus. I hope its the latter.

So I was just wondering if there are any weird loopholes with Sillinger being technically drafted out of the USHL and his ability to play in the AHL his 19 year old season if he and the team decide its best? Im guessing hes actually considered a CHL product but I havent heard anything about it

Regarding other players in that position - they were just on loan from CHL to USHL so they're still bound by the CHL's stupid rule.

At this point gotta give the edge to Foudy, he’s dominated AHL as well as Angle plus he’s already played in the NHL and WHC.
Personally I'm taking Angle. Foudy has legitimately zero finishing ability and that's hard to teach. Angle comes in to the AHL as a rookie, never playing a game and goes PPG for 24 games? Are you kidding? Give me that guy, maybe he can be our Brayden Point. Obviously it's too early to tell but Foudy really needs to figure out how to score or teams are going to play the pass.

Caveat: The AHL was a bit weaker than normal due to taxi squads. Still he's definitely worth a look or at least give him a big role in Cleveland.

Rough translation:
Brynäs has got his goalkeeper in place. Which is not entirely unexpected has a connection to Mikko Manner.

VV not going to be a goalie for the Monsters next year.
