Sutter also said he hadn’t decided on a goaltender yet for the game with the Blue Jackets, so it will be interesting to see if he tips his hand at all today.

The line combinations look fairly set for tomorrow night. This is how they were paired up today:

I wouldn't mind seeing Bernier start. Makes sense to play the backup against the weaker team (CBJ), and let your starter play against Chicago.

Quick carried last season and carried is more than a few games this season. He is a Vezina finalist and Conn Smythe winner from last season. That goal against Detroit sucked. He has had a few games and was benched against the Blues.

Quick deserves to be back in net against Columbus and I think he will be. Quick always plays better when he has more games not less.

Quick is extremely competitive. Setbacks just make the guy try harder and work on his game. I wouldn't worry about his confidence of Bernier got the nod tonight.

Exactly. He knew who would be starting this game before the Blues game. I also would add to what you said DeeMeck that he may want to put a little pressure on Quick to maybe not make him feel as comfortable, that Bernier is pushing him sort of thing.

Go with the hot hand and start Bernier. Maybe Quick's back could use a longer rest.
Its odd but I am mroe concerned with how the kings will play tomorrow than Sunday. I thnk they will be pumped for the hawks but may come out slow against the Jackets.

So Muzzin better play like DS/DL have had faith in him or he'll be the new Drewiske/Harrold for a while. Hopefully he has a heck of a game and we get to see what DL has seen for so long.

Quick is our guy, but playing a weaker team like CBJ is the perfect opportunity to start your backup. I don't want Quick worked into the ground like he was in 09-10 by TM.
