CBC gets first pick right?

How anyone would remember that is amazing but nevertheless I'm not impressed having to do that. look at the loafs 1st game then their next 3 days later, must be nice and who is this person in concert never heard of her and who cares!! she's gotta take a back seat to the Habs.

Marie-Mai is only popular in Quebec. She sings for young kids of 12 years old.
The Leafs series is controlled by CBC. :sarcasm:

I prefer a cbc broadcast. Call me a traditionalist or whatever, I'm not a big fan of TSN. I like Bob Mac and that is it, plus, I prefer Cole over the rest.

Nothing better than the playoffs with Bob Cole! :handclap:

He get's players names wrong all the time, but I don't care. I grew up listening to him on Saturday nights - pure nostalgia.

As long as she stays away from the locker room... girls don't belong there... /Cherrysarcasm :sarcasm:

Anyway it's gonna be RDS for me, except for game 1 (I'll be on a romantic trip with my gf, and I'm not sure that "Nothing says love as a Habs game").

I'm surprised that CBC didn't choose the Canucks series, but a canadian matchup in the EDT timezone is hard to miss for sure...

Time to throw that girlfriend in the bushes.

Not yet, not yet, as I plan to convert her to our religion by showing her what is playoff hockey (at the Bell if possible...). She's never been to a live game.

She agreed and she even asked me if we should go to Ottawa as home tickets were gone for the first round and she knows that my favorite Habs games were lived at the Bank Scotia Place with the mixed crowd.

But, lack of free time right now will make us wait until round 2!

Edit: My best "live" game was still at the Bell, but no hockey was played there that night... Habs-Pens game 7 in 2010... By accident I finally got tickets in the BB red row thinking it was higher than the ones I blocked in row J, only to realize it was actually second row before the ice, first row being occupied by Alouettes cheerleaders! :)

CBC sucks but at least folks like myself who don't have cable will get to watch it the 1st round on TV.

Ditto. I was worried about this. Glad to hear I'll be able to see the games at home.

+1

The silver lining of CBC taking the Habs: Those fantastic montages :)

Can't wait for a pre game montage. The only reason I enjoy CBC.

Get ready to hear nothing but Karlsson.

Probably. This is gonna be annoying but no matter who the Habs play they'll be raving about someone on the other team (Crosby, Kadri, Karlsson. etc.)

Agreed. I loved Habs/Caps on TSN a couple years ago. TSN is so much better for picture and sound. Plus I like Cuthbert.

Yea but they had Maguire who brought the excitement to another level. Hearing him praising the Habs in the Caps series was great to hear.

But as long as we get Bob Cole, i'm good.
