CBC gets first pick right?

I remember all the great reviews on Hughson when he was hired by the CBC. He's simply terrible imo. I'd take a 100 yr old Bob Cole any day.

Chris Cuthbert and Doc Emerick are the best in the business for my money. CBC has some good guys but not so much in the booth. Kelly Hrudy was good in the studio but he is just awful as a colour guy and Kevin Weeks, and Friedge are good I think.

PJ Stock is bottom of the barrel though, just awful in every fashion.

Pretty sure they'll pick up Vancouver, so they can have Toronto at 7 and Vancouver at 10.

This is exactly how it will play out.

Why would they have 2 series in the eastern timezone and have to split the network, when they can have the entire audience watching both series.

TSN will have no problem picking up Habs/Sens. It'll be on the opposite night as well, so they'll get the leafs audience.

I remember when TSN didn't show playoff games, they'd always put the Habs on SRC, which is technically a sister station, so they got 3 series.

I pray MTL doesn't play Toronto for the simple reason I cannot take Jim Hughson doing an entire MTL series.

It's GAL-CHEN-YUK not GAL-CHENNY-YUK, my goodness it has to be the most annoying thing in the world.

Or, David DeshaRRRRnais.

Please, please, please, for the love of God let us get picked up by TSN!!!! CBC NEVER considers the Habs as the "home" team - the series is ALWAYS called from the other team's perspective. It's a subtle but distinct difference and I suspect many of you will understand what I'm talking about. To watch a Carolina-Montreal series and feel that the Hurricane are the "home" team was horrible. I watch RDS every game but when the Habs score I love to switch to CBC (if the game is on) to hear those clowns choke down a Habs goal.

The year CBC passed on Mtl-Wash was great. TSN called the game as a neutral network and I loved it. I don't want homers - I just want a balanced call and man, TSN hit it out of the park. CBC feels the need to play to their Leaf viewers and if the Habs are playing that means the other team is the "home" team. ****ers.

Go Habs!

Man! You hit the nail on the head. Last night I watched the game on CBC and I was totally disgusted. Jack Edwards sounds more neutral when he calls a Boston/Mtl match than those d****bags at the CBC last night.

The same reason why I don't like watching Habs games on RDS. Total homers for Montreal. The CBC total homers for T.O.

I really enjoy TSN. They are a top notch show. They're neutral even when they call T.O/Mtl games.

I don't see how they'll take Ott/MTL over Vancouver. It's alot better for them to take Vancouver at 10 IMO.

I hope so atleast. TSN > CBC.

The Bell conglomeration is going to be wetting themselves if they can manage to get the habs/sens on TSN, considering they already have RDS, they might be the biggest winners of all without even the 1st pick.

Agreed. I loved Habs/Caps on TSN a couple years ago. TSN is so much better for picture and sound. Plus I like Cuthbert.

Plus, TSN provided us with this gold:

Knowing CBC, hughson will get toronto. Cole will get the 2nd eastern series that CBC selects.

Which means canucks will get one of mark lee, or rick ball

Guys, if CBC doesn't pick our series would those of us in QC be able to watch the games on CBC still?

It's my understanding that GameCentre Live won't be showing any PO games...
