Oh god, and he likes Taylor Swift.
Can we stop acting like Middelstadt is this stud that could not possibly be outperformed by Yamamoto. Its not unrealistic. Its happened?
Funny that Pronman had Mittelstadt rated higher.
Drafting forward over D this year didn't hurt us, drafting 2 forwards in the top 40 last year did...
I don't give a **** where he was rated. He's a soft, perimeter, east-west player. Combine that, with softy Nylander, the organizational derth of D. I have no ****ing idea what they think they're building, but it isn't a winner.

Some never seem to grow out of that High School mentality. Some of you people are reminding me of why I rarely participate here anymore. So many ripping on the musical tastes of a CHILD. It's embarrassing.
My god the overreaction over this pick is ridiculous. There's a reason Botterill is the GM and not any of us. Yes we needed D, but every GM that gives an interview says you go BPA in the first. We will address the D via trade and free agency, I'm sure.

I remember watching him at the U18s 2 years ago and thought he had Patty Kane type hands.
Tim Murray said he would address that too.
We ended up with Franson and Kulikov...........
...and when that didn't work, even though the Franson signing worked once given correct minutes and Kulikov had an unlucky season, Murray and Botterill both have addressed the D before free agency began...
