Lines and pairings remain the same in practice as in the game vs. the Wild

22-33-14. 21-45-36. 20-40-9. 15-27-32
2-23. 5-3. 4-8.

At this point I'd rather see a dominating game (a la 2011 Canucks) with a loss than another unimpressive win. We need to get our game back.

#Canucks are 5/13 (38.5%) on PP in 2 games vs ANA this season & 3/38 (7.9%) vs #NHL opponents in other 8 games played
Why fix something that isn't broken.
:sarcasm:

Jeff Paterson needs to take a statistics class. He consistently does this where he takes out the Canucks best games... like those numbers better reflect how the Canucks are doing. They don't. It's really annoying.

agreed Scurr..
Why not spin it the other way...

Canucks are 0/9 vs the Oilers (0%), but 8/43 (19%) vs NHL opponents in the other 8 games.

Gotta love numbers.. Let this be a lesson to you people - how people choose to spin numbers by being selective and cherry picking will show their agenda.

You don't need to cherry pick stats to make the Canucks PP look bad. It's been garbage for the last 50 or so games.

I think Paterson is trying too hard to make it seem bad when it's already bad enough without really doing anything to it. We're ranked 23rd in the league, FFS.

Looks like Coquitlam minor product Ben Street makes his NHL debut tonight in Vancouver for the Flames :handclap:

Congrats to him

I have a bad feeling about this game for Ben Street.

No Backlund for the Flames will hurt as well.
