(10%) Injury concern. If you allow them, they need to be universal or you end up with guys getting their faces wrecked during hard hits.

(90%) Let’s be honest, the NHL wants the fights and they want you to be able to see faces. It’s a marketing thing.

Yeah that makes no sense, if a player wants to wear one no reason at all they shouldn’t be allowed to. That being said I still don’t think many players would ever choose to wear full shields

Tro has been really bad at finishing this year. If not for that flaw in his game as a top 6 center this year I’d be much more in favor of trying hard to keep him this offseason.
