My preference is eastern style (vinegar based) but if you're for a tomato based sauce western style is the way to go

Honestly I just stick with Frank's unless I need something with a bit more of a kick.

If I was making from "scratch" I use a Butter Base Franks, Tabasco Ground Cayenne And If I want a kick a bit of Ground Habanero. (Habenaro is so sweet )

Franks is a base. I generally throw in some habanero or something with it for heat. Sweet Baby James is a bit less strong than Franks.
