I'm still confident in Sogaard for the future but with goalies being a shot in the dark, I'd rather have 2 bullets than 1. Forsberg is solid but will be coming off 2 MCL tears. I'd love to make a move for Carter Hart, but don't think you're getting that great of an asset out of it.

Maybe Tyler Boucher in a package? Son of flyers legend Brian Boucher lol. I don't think we would give up Greig for him though, but still have some decent prospects and Dorion gives 2nd round picks out like they're candy.

What did Georgiev go for last year? Or Grubauer AND eating the end of Orpik's contract? The OP is asking for Kuemper return without Kuemper performance. Hart is closer to Grubauer coming out of Washington or Georgiev coming out of NY than he is of anyone who returns a first.

Getting value for a goalie is kinda impossible nowdays. A year they go .930 , the year after they got .898 .

Hart could be a nice trade but due to the goalie market value i see perhaps a late first? + a B prospect?

Why would the Flyers trade the only homegrown goalie they have since Pelle Lindbergh. Hart is a goalie you want to go thru a rebuild with. Briere would be stupid to trade him.

Who is the last goalie to get traded for the kind of package you're asking for?

1st plus a B prospect. Maybe another mid-late pick. I don’t see Hart going for more. He’s good. He should be in or entering his prime. Without writing out a list, he’s probably not a top 10 goalie. He has no NHL playoff track record to point to.

He’s a nice piece. I don’t think he’s a guy you acquire expecting him to steal a playoff series.
