I don't want to oversell this kid and I would never ever say this on the main board, but he shuts down his side of the ice in the same way Pronger used to. In a different way obviously, but to similar effect. Like, literally don't bother bringing the puck anywhere near him if you want to keep it. Did you see how he bodied Taylor Hall up on a 1-on-1 last game? And just stripped Tarasenko like it was no big thing? Stuff like that just doesn't happen, not from a 22-year-old for sure.

He's no Pronger, I don't mean that, but defensively I really am starting to think he has that level of potential impact.
