Bonino could be realistic target for RF this summer. Good two-way center, capable of playing in the Peters system, probably cheap.

I keep seeing people want player brought up, but isn't there a limit of like 4 after the deadline unless there's an emergency situation? Think they called up Ned on an emergency basis the other day because of this. Not sure if this is accurate, or the timing, but I think they've called up Nesty, Wallmark, Brown, and Zykov.

Well our PK was not that good, other than that, we played okey game, nothing too bad or too good, not good enough for playoffs

I am excited for this off-season, it will be very interesting, and I think next season we should be in the race for sure

I believe... it's over.

Hell of a run boys, made it really exciting for a few games. I hope GMRF has the balls to pull a top liner this offseason.

Feels like we say the same thing at the end of every season.
I think we are going in right direction, if we had better goalie situation we would be in playoffs. Look at Leafs, they are in because of Andersen, if they had their old goalies, even they are loaded with best talent, I think they would be like us.

So I am positive, I believe in GMRF more than GMJR

It's really not just Andersen. Leafs have a top 5 offense in the NHL. So when a mistake or bad goal or something like that occurs, they have the horses to recover. Canes don't have the horsepower offensively to make up for the inevitable hiccups.

There was a stretch a few weeks back where the Canes scored 2 or less goals in most every game. There's no doubt the Canes need to improve their goaltending, but they need more offensive talent as well.

I agree with that as well, but I think if we had better goaltending we would be in playoff spot probably.

But IMO there is reason to be optimistic about next season for sure! (if everything goes well in off-season)

Is there a major difference between us and Columbus other than goaltending?

I realize Columbus is more productive offensively, but that will happen when you're not constantly playing from behind.
