He won't face any real consequences for the drink thing and won't be kicked out of ownership for anything we know about him so far. Worst that will happen is a fine (literally irrelevant given his net worth), maybe a suspension from being around the team for some very short period of time, and maybe draft pick(s) forfeiture. That would be at it's absolute steepest and really wouldn't do anything at all to help us fans get rid of him.

I hate to say this but I think the surest way for the Carolinas to have a successful football team again would be for Tepper to move the Panthers and Charlotte gets an expansion team or another team to move here. Would have to live with not having a team for a few years at least but frankly that may be better than having the Tepper Panthers in town...

I'm assuming there are limitations to the amount the NFL can fine someone, even a very rich someone.
Technically I don't believe there are any limitations at all to what the NFL could fine their owners. Players, yes, it's all spelled out in the CBA. But nothing in place for owners.

However below is a good article discussing why owners would never really be adequately punished for off field issues. Frankly, I'm surprised the NFL did anything in the Tepper case, Tepper's a massive douche and while I'd love for the league to force him to sell over the drink thing as a fan who wants my team back, it really wasn't that big a deal. To my point above, this type of stuff happens all the time in stadiums throughout the country and nothing really comes of it, maybe at worst a fan who does it gets escorted out of that particular game. Douche move, bad look for Tepper, yes. But really pretty minor.

Not sure I've met anyone up here who hates the Jets. I mean, they're the LOLest team around, but Pats fans hate the Giants more, for having the audacity to beat St. Thomas of Brady TWICE in the Supah Bowl.
yep. Giants and Steelers (mostly Steelers fans) seem to draw whatever hate Pats fans have in my experience.

Florida is interesting, because how exactly are you determining who is the most hated? Bucs fans for a long time hated the Panthers, the 00s had some nasty games between the two. Jaguars fans seem to hate the Titans more than the Colts or Texans. Dolphins fans don't like the Jets or Patriots, they're also re-budding the Bills rivalry from back in the 90s.

I'd probably say the Patriots are the least favorite team in that state. Jags fans don't like them as well. Plus you gotta figure the snowbirds and transplants into the equation, it's similar to how we as Canes fans can't stand Bruins/Rangers because of how many of them are here.
