Good. I think their visual brand has stood up really well. They have a nice set of options with either white or blue home unis, plus a very clean looking white. I would be annoyed if they made a major change just for the sake of a change.

For the love of god, just finally make the blue jerseys the primary jersey, regardless of the minuscule difference in the shade. The whites are good too, but the black jerseys are just boring as hell.

Sad that we're losing the complete stripe, though. I know a lot of the on field jerseys were modified to not have them anyway, but we were the last team to have the legit full shoulder stripes, and it gave the jerseys a really timeless look despite the modern colors.

They wear whites at the beginning of the year because it's hot and that forces the other team to wear their darker jerseys.

The only thing about the overall aesthetic with the Panthers that I would change is the helmet stripes. Never really liked them, and the way they arch outwards toward the back does cram in the logo a bit. I'd probably just get rid of them, and then do a more proper centering and possibly enlarging of the logos.

I love the black helmet. Remove the blue stripes and those are absolutely a keeper for big games and into the playoffs. I wouldn't be entirely shocked to see them promoted to main helmet within the next 5 years, they're that good.

yeah there's more of that than I'd like but I just ignore it. there are some good posters, and compared to other NFL teams' boards and other places to keep up with the Panthers I think it's the best.

Draft is tonight.

Do they f*** it up? Who do you think they select, and what do you think is the biggest headline tomorrow morning?

Isn't it kind of a given that they select Bryce Young?
Yes 100% and there is zero question whatsoever.

I'm excited, certainly aware of the concerns with his size but he's a legit baller. Clutch, smart, great processing, very accurate, can make all the throws from all different types of situations/body positions (similar to Mahomes/Rodgers), etc. Scouts have said if he were a bit taller and bulkier he'd be a bonafide generational prospect like a Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, etc. Hope he can hold up but the way the league is trending makes it more likely as the league is protecting passers and disallowing defense more than ever each year. most excited I've been as a Panthers fan by far since early 2018.

Also a cool parallel with his size is that the most impactful player in team history for the culture and soul of this franchise is Sam Mills, who was historically tiny for a linebacker, and yet he was still an absolute monster. I'm pumped for Bryce and the new coaching staff working with him.

Being on the shorter end didn't stop Jalen Hurts from going ham on the NFL last year, and would suspect that Bryce Young will do the same. Kid seems like the real deal. Nothing is ever a guarantee, but he has all the potential to be an MVP in the NFL in a short time.

And of the Panthers give him an actual good OL he could have a decently long career, too.

Height is honestly less of a concern than his slight frame. Hurts is an absolute tank (and he still has 3 inches on Young). Young is probably 40lbs lighter. We already have a damn good OL. I’m not too concerned about it but it is the concern with him. Really the only one so as long as he stays healthy I think he’ll help turn this team around from day 1.

Both franchises are disasters but we’ll what else houston does. CJ is the better QB imo.
Panthers have the better OL, and that goes hell of a long way to who has the better career

But now that Houston is trading up to 3, who knows

I mean whats his face was a terrible character but he was a great QB for them.

Also Warren Moon would like a word :sarcasm:

Watson.

I'd argue Watson was already a great player that didn't go to a great situation. Bill O'Brien was a terrible coach for him. In that playoff game against the Bills, Watson bailed his ass out.

Moon played for the Oilers, not Texans.
