Funny how the Islanders were going to bottom out after losing Tavares for nothing, huh?
Sometimes it’s about the whole team.
Good coaching is a thing.

He and Dahlin do this stupid stuff when they hesitate, he had a man open on the right side clear on goal a second before that lame backhand does 2-3 a game now.All that work Jack and you go to... weak backhand pass to no one! Hey, one day it might work!
I've just never seen it with Jake. He's always been bad.
I have a baby boy on the way and I’m pretty sure his first words are going to be “JESUS ****ING CHRIST, EICHEL”.
If anyone thought they would bottom out with Trotz coaching they’re not too bright.Funny how the Islanders were going to bottom out after losing Tavares for nothing, huh?

Under Weight every player was making mental mistakes and dumb plays constantly. You don't see anyone on the Isles do that very often these days despite the roster being nearly identical. There's a reason for that.Good coaching is a thing.
a wise kid, don't introduce him to the miserable life of being a sabre fan.My soon to be 15 year old came out of his room to ask who I think they draft in the 6-8 range this year.
Count yer blessings......At least he's coming out of his room for more than to just refuel and occasionally purge......My soon to be 15 year old came out of his room to ask who I think they draft in the 6-8 range this year.
Take your dreams to the appropriate thread.I have this recurring horror dream that Eichel ends up in Boston traded for some Bruin cast offs.... And helps them win the Stanley Cup.....
Oh excuse me, that was O'Reilly........ deja vu is a *****...........
A lot of the reason they were wasted was because Murray bought into the idea that Eichel could change a franchise around and carry a team. He even said he wasn't going to waste years of Eichel's development after drafting him. I think Murray was always going to be a gambler but I don't believe he wastes nearly as many assets if Eichel had half the hype he did. If Eichel was drafted 4th overall and was going to be sent back to Junior/College I think Murray would have been much more patient. He probably doesn't even make the Kane trade in preparation to finish last.Fair enough. I’m still extremely pissed about the assets wasted to build a bad team with a toxic locker room. It’s depressing. What could have been.
He is definitely a Sabres fan groomed on this current eraMy soon to be 15 year old came out of his room to ask who I think they draft in the 6-8 range this year.
