He is actively trying to avoid going to Colorado by tanking his value. Smart kid, really.
God I wish we were mediocre on the road
Don't overreact.
Cam is off, team is off, cbj has something to prove tonite. This was always going to be a tough game. If the goaltending is solid, it's still 2-1 with a chance to get even late.
Can't win 'em all.

As someone else pointed out, our entire road record is awful, which is exactly what I'm appropriately reacting to.
This. People are acting as if we are much worse than we are. It's been a real bad game, but this isn't the end of the season.
Did Ned earn a start on the back-to-back? Can't imagine he's that much worse than Leighton
I am prepared to lose points, but not with game like this, there was no effort after a break, and that just not good enough from a team who can play much betterI love how the entire team looks bad (save for Ned) and we effortlessly find our security blanket whipping boy and make him the target of all of our frustration.
You guys talk the talk ("I'd be happy with 4 points in these 4 games"), but you aren't prepared for how that plays out.

Fine. If you want to argue bad vs mediocre, whatever. But no sense in basing it off this particular game.
I know McGrath was joking, but maybe the terrible ice really does give the Hurricanes an advantage at home.
