If it's any consolation, the Checkers are currently losing 3-0 in front of a sold-out crowd...that's pretty much standard anytime they have a packed house (they probably lose about 85% of the time the home crowd is > 7,000)

2 good things today- our PK is still good and Ned looked good

Other than that, we were so **** even after free time. We need to play much better, I am disappointed by the effort of how they lost. I understand that we will lose some games, but this was just unacceptable- no effort at all.

They're the worst team in the conference on the road. They have 6 wins in 24 games. That's putrid. They're going to need to not be that putrid to have any shot at the playoffs.

I'd be happy giving him the start Saturday. Ward will need the break, and given his showing tonight, I have more faith in Ned than I do in Leighton.

I am prepared to lose points, but not with game like this, there was no effort after a break, and that just not good enough from a team who can play much better

Nah. He didn't look good, but no one looked good. And still, if Cam is on, the Canes have a chance despite not being very good. That's all.

I'm basing it off their record on the road. I said the other day in another thread they might need to make a move because they are bad on the road, and all the home wins don't make that better. This is just an extension of an already poor performing road team.
