Considering there is little chance we're making the playoffs, I'm happy enough with an entertaining loss. I'd rather have that than a boring win at this point anyway.

play like this for the rest of the season please, because its obvious this team aint getting into the top 10, picks 11-18 are a wash might as well try now. Hoffman and Karlsson are the greatest

Team played well, just didn't have puck luck on their side.
I mean, that 2nd 'Canes goal that deflected off of Wier, and then CURVED ALONG THE ICE?!? Ridiculous bad luck on that goal. Then the knuckle-puck deflection off of pageau...
Sucks, but that's the way the game goes sometimes. You just have to shrug off those odd-ball goals. They're going to happen from time to time, no sense getting bent out of shape over them. Just rare to have two goals like that in the same game, can't let it get you too down.

This is why a win never excites me. It's that feeling that they're going to lose the next one making the win meaningless.
I am hoping the team can make some trades by the trade deadline and can get some draft picks or young prospects for some of the older players who might help a Cup contender make a long playoff run, such as trading Legwand, Michalek, Greening, Phillips and Neil, plus some younger players who don't add much value to the team such as Smith and Wiercioch.

It was indeed a good game overall despite the loss and those last 30 seconds where they seemed to have no plan whatsoever.

Really disappointing that we can't get a win against one of the worst team that is playing on a back to back.
Even if we don't win the kids have to learn that these are the games we have to win.
Sucks really, played well but at some point playing well gives you none. It seems everytime we get a good win then we go on to lose the next. Frankly annoying as a die hard fan man.
