I like him and think he could possibly step into a third line role, but he's not killing penalties. Sturm says he's got an elite shot but we haven't seen it yet. Definitely hasn't earned a huge amount more ice time.

He's pretty much strictly a 5v5 4th liner producing about what you'd expect from a 4th liner but the lack of versatility really shows when he's not producing anything with his shifts. I like his pace of play but he's very expendable.

Unless you meant that every time you see Grundstrom hit the ice you’re surprised and confused so much that you don’t know how to react. Which is a totally fair state to find oneself in when half of the Sharks depth players hit the ice... But it is his job, he’s just kinda bad at it, again, like Sharks depth players.

Not a critique, it’s just, I’m a simple man, if I see an opportunity to post Norm MacDonald, I post Norm MacDonald.

Small sample size, but it seems as though the insight we received from Kings fans after the acquisition was pretty accurate. Flashes of good play, but ultimately, inconsistent.

He's fast. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes on a random 5 game tear at some point this season. But 91 looks kind of odd on him.
