I don’t know, I think she’s got a thick skin and she’s a smartass. She’d fit right in.I dunno, we're a bit of an acquired taste. I can imagine a newbie to the area looking at this and giving it a hard pass.

I refuse to join for this reason.Part of the issue is that Twitter simply is not a platform for in-depth discussion.
We would know if she properly reported sports stuff and not other crap.So uhh... hows about that hockey game?
Forgot this was that thread! Did anyone else think the first line messed with the puck too much and didn’t bear down on the finishes after Svech’s goal? Almost cost us the game. I love having a first line, but watching them giggle at each other after they failed to finish over and over again on plays someone has to finish will get old quick. So uhh... hows about that hockey game?
Jesus, this is the social media equivalent of saying she deserved the sexual assault for wearing sexy clothes. Its basically saying she's not qualified to speak about sports and be taken seriously unless she purposely hides her looks. Pretty much the exact misogynistic bull**** she has to deal with time and time again online.
Like, this says more about you than her. A lot more.
What if her political leanings were in tune with yours?
It felt Svech was on a mission to get Turbo goals. It looked like they were actively trying to get turbo a goal more than they were trying to just score any goal. I fell asleep in the third but I assume they cut that out once the cushion was gone
They really didn’t have any time after cushion went away to see, though I agree I’m sure they would. A three goal lead isn’t enough (though it should be), hopefully they figured that out after last night. It looked like they were actively trying to get turbo a goal more than they were trying to just score any goal. I fell asleep in the third but I assume they cut that out once the cushion was gone
But you just try replying "Sister, this is not the sort of baiting I follow the accounts of hot internet women for", and see all hell break loose.I don't think the clothing is relevant, but it does seem like she baits idiots into trolling her so she can score some points on them. I think that's a savvy move from a self-promotion standpoint, but it's a bummer for people just looking to get some fun hockey content. But the number of people just looking for hockey content <<<<<< the number who love them some good internet drama, so it makes all the sense in the world.

In fact, my opinion is that The Athletic is overrated. They obviously have longer content, but not necessarily "in-depth."
Maybe I am confused.....she is paid to write articles on The Athletic. No one pays her to say or do what she does on Twitter. And shenisntndirevtly tied to the franchise. Who cares what she says politially or otherwise on there? Her articles are great. If you don't like it. Don't follow.

Love what Sara brings to the Canes coverage. But, she's 26, sarcastic, opinionated, and produces a TON of social media content...she's going to make mistakes with what she puts out there, for sure. Lempo might be the only one who regularly posts in this forum who doesn't make similar missteps.
I see you and your horse are done already, tarheel. That's because Lempo's smart enough to keep his jaw-droppingly offensive remarks to DM.
I would take the time to answer this, but it's Wednesday, which means I have a shipment of lotions, chains and donkeys that I need to go see about right now.
What does it matter to you?
My views are this:
Leave people alone and stay out of their business.
Like I said. The provocateurs always out themselves. The very fact that we're discussing it, instead of hockey, only reinforces my point.
It's easier if she was in Boston. So you go on a rant about what Sara posts, complaining about it, calling it bull****, saying she should go back to Boston, etc....
And then say your views are "leave people alone and stay out of their business"?
I THINK ENGLISH SPEAKERS HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE CONCEPT OF SAYING LETTERS THE EXACT SAME WAY AS THEY ARE WRITTEN.

In the first grade we had all the letters on the class wall, plus "the äng sound", or the velar nasal, or ŋ. The NG in thiNG. We got the sound in words with "-nk-" (ŋk) or "-ng-" (ŋŋ) in them.
We were seven, but questioned hard this kind of utter bull**** where the letters fail.
Fun word, kuningas. The word king, koning, kung etc. in various Germanic languages all stem from the Proto-Germanic word "kuningaz". Likewise, ring comes from "rengaz".KORVEN KUNINGAS - KORPIKLAANI ALBUM.
CZECH HAS THIS SOUND, (ALBEIT IT DOESN’T REALLY REQUIRE A MENTION) IN WORDS LIKE
“BANKA” OR “TANK”
FIRST TIME I REALISED, IT IS A SPECIFIC SOUND WAS WHEN I WAS 7 OR 8 LEARNING ENGLISH AND HOW TO PROPERLY PRONOUNCE -ING SUFFIX.
