They all hate him. The NHL officiating community is small and something he said in broken English as a rookie set one of those douches off and they have been unfairly penalizing him ever since.

Well I was kiteboarding during the game, so I had to watch it on replay. When the score got 4-0, unlike in years past where I would have thrown down the remote in disgust, I said to myself "this game is entirely winnable for them", and just fast forwarded through most of the 2nd, until I saw the game was 4-2, and at that point knew we'd win. So great after years of what we have had to endure.

Of course...the spirit of my comment was not so much comparing CBJ to Florida, but how both of those games, respectively, played out. The way things were going for us up until the 3rd, we might as well have been playing the Cats in many Canes' fans minds. I admit it wasnt looking good.

There's always a way. make their locker room stink to the point it makes them ill for all I care. Make their lives miserable when they come to the arena. There's ALWAYS a way to get under someone's skin.

I saw several players on Glenwood South last night while bar hopping. Nino, Svech, Skjei, Pesce, Chatfield, TDA, and Freddie. Was going to say what’s up/buy shots, but I didn’t want to bother them. They all seemed in good spirits

There is definitely something going on with the league when it comes to how they treat and penalize us.

Brind'Amour I get, he has a mostly well deserved reputation for busting refs balls, and there's only so much of that their egomania can take.

Svechnikov I don't. Year 4, and he still gets rookie class benefit of the doubt. I don't get it. He doesn't play with an edge. I never see him complain about a call like Skinner used to. It's very strange.
