Wow from down 0-4 to winning 7-4 is not something I would normally expect out of this team...most teams at 0-4 are down and out
This feels like trick question... obviously it's Buffalo!.Too bad neither of those squads won it. Who did that year?
"Down, but not out" has been this team's motto since Rod took over.Wow from down 0-4 to winning 7-4 is not something I would normally expect out of this team...most teams at 0-4 are down and out

I wouldn't make that bet..If this is the year for this team, the way it's trending right now would prevent anyone from maligning it relative to others the way they do with that one.
Betty White, huge Caniac, has truly blessed us this day.

You Only Die Twice, Columbus. Bally Sports is rebroadcasting the game right now lol
ETA: and now it's gone. Bally pulls the game out of respect for the state of Ohio
3rd starting now on replay on Bally.
BTW, did they ever say why Columbus changed goalies? I assume injury but just missed why on replay if said.
Looked up the stats myself. Since entering the league, Svech has scored 14 empty net goals in 233 games. Over that time span, the only players with more are Aho (15 in 234) and Ovechkin (15 in 227).I'm pretty sure Svech has an insane amount of empty net goals in his career. He's got 4 out of his 10 goals this season, and at last count, 15 ENGs in 230 or so games.
To put that in perspective, the top two in ENGs are Gretzky and OV. OV has 41 in 1205 games. Gretzky has 56 in 1487 games.
Svech is scoring ENGs at a much higher pace than those two.

Interestingly, Svech has picked up exactly zero empty net assists. It’s goal or bust for him. Ovie only has 4, and our magical hockey elf has 12.
