It truly is remarkable. I'm old enough to remember Miracle at Molson but as amazing as that was, that was 3 and took overtime. To be down 4-0 and win in regulation, never-mind 7 straight, that's what separates good from great, and also instills belief that every night is winnable no matter what.

I'm pretty sure Svech has an insane amount of empty net goals in his career. He's got 4 out of his 10 goals this season, and at last count, 15 ENGs in 230 or so games.

To put that in perspective, the top two in ENGs are Gretzky and OV. OV has 41 in 1205 games. Gretzky has 56 in 1487 games.

Svech is scoring ENGs at a much higher pace than those two.

Svech is certainly puck hungry. He's fast, and skilled enough to get around defenders as well so I'm not that surprised that he as many as he does. I feel like he should have more goals than he does, but the finish isn't quite there for him right now.
