McGinn was a sneaky play because we've seen flashes of offensive brilliance out of him, rare as they may be. Could have been bad, could have been good, and it ended up being good. But Ryan... I don't see how he possibly thought Ryan was his best option with the game on the line.

What kind of message was he trying to send though? Lindy was probably the best player on the ice this game and Ryan was one of the worst.

I can understand not putting Aho, TT, Skinner out there. No way our best option was Ryan.
