I have always been a fan of Jankowski since he was on the Flames. I always felt he was a player that is super cheap but you could get some decent value out of him in your lineup. He is a guy I kind of wanted the Oilers to sign for really cheap depth. Then again, maybe I have not watched him enough the last number of years to know any better also.

Bottom six grinders coming to the Canes must show up to their first practice and feel like they’ve found nirvana. The system is very much set up for them to succeed and there’s zero pressure to score, only to play the system and play hard. It’s not weird for them to fit in better than they fit in elsewhere.
